Ergosign is an industry leader in the field of user interface. Their mission is to make software visually appealing while ensuring optimal usability.
The young company was founded at the University of Saarland and since then, has risen to the mainstream and now operates on an international level. Demand for an attactive and representative headquarters has grown with it. This office should have space for 25 employees and encourage communication between them. Creating a homey atomosphere is a central goal for the building.

Design

Our design strives to be more than just a simple office building. Approaching the building from the northern entrance of the central train station, the visitor is met by an inviting covered entrance ramp.
Upon entering the first level, the company's promotional video is displayed on a media wall. The loung is on the same level. This serves as the reception and service space for guests and associates in addition to a point meeting and communication between staff.
The workspace is arrived at by way of the open single stairs. These are used for more than just flow. The split level organization of the building combined with the open stairs makes communication throughout all the floors possible. Besides the classic work stations, there are also areas of seclusion and zones for communication. These are distinguished from the otherwise reserved materiality by their use of red textiles and leather.
The building's outer shell is of silver Alucobond panels which shimmer gold.
