A furnace and sintering facility in the long eastern side define the length and vertical organization of the space. The former function of the furnace is represented as at the moment of tapping during production, when the liquid material leaves the furnace bulb. This process, which happens every four hours, is documented in terre liquide: a pulsing lightfield on the row of pillars to the east plunges the steelyard into an orange light every four hours. Shortly after this "tapping", steam pours out from the crown of the western pillars, signalling the end of the "steel smelting" and announces the restarting of the process. Swift changes! "Solid air", that uncoupled field by the western columns, forms with its dense hedges and wall seating possibilities for regeneration.
