In our view, it is absolutely necessary that Bexbach achieves in a single urban intervention, a sustainable answer to ensure the longevity of the city and supports necessary structural change. This can translate into the motto or theme of the project that grows out of the collective understanding of the city.

Relaxation and sport in the city are already established as central themes to the urban structure, as evidenced by the geographic and the typographic circumstances of the city of Bexbach and the previous urban development of the area. A large number of sporting facilities and clubs support this kind of development and prove that a large percentage of the population can identify with this theme and that resources are available for such projects. Included so as to strengethen this theme are areas for seasonal camping, trade fairs and sporting airport.
