The exisiting industrial character of the quarter offers a high identity potential when further developed and freshly interpreted in new construction. Future structural development creates a permeable city edge, one that carries through the qualities of the Riviera and its growth. So the old and the new and the city and the landscape are harmoniously brought together.

From the respective developers, investors, firms, assemblies and cooperatives came distinct requirements for development steps and uses and with that the need to develop an overarching concept for the urban situation. The distinct requests give no chronological sequence or guideline which may allow for a high mixed use.
